The specialized energy conference ENERGOFÓRUM® 2008 was held on October 2 – 3, 2008 in Piešťany. The conference attracted 182 specialists from 79 companies, state administrative bodies and another organizations and was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.
This year’s conference evaluated presents development of liberalization of power industry in Slovakia. The core topic was "Electricity market. Expectations and the reality...". Speakers and participants were dealing with the development and heading of power industry, safety and stability of electricity supply and also energy management. Lectures and panel discussions were attended by main representatives of Czech and Slovak energy sector.
